When will the ASICS GT-2000​​™ 14 shoe come out?

The ASICS GT-2000​​™ 14 running shoe will be available for preorder beginning in August 2025, with a full release planned for later this year.

What is the difference between the GT-2000​​™ 13 and 14 shoes?

Enhanced performance and a more sustainable design are behind the advances found in the GT-2000​​™ 14 stability running shoes. Some of the main differences between the GT-2000​​™ 14 shoe and previous GT-2000​​™ models include:

• Improved midsole cushioning: The GT-2000​​™ 14 shoe is updated with FF BLAST™ MAX cushioning, which offers cloud-like softness and responsive energy return.
• Trampoline forefoot pod: A trampoline forefoot pod positioned on the medial side of the outsole captures more energy for a bouncing effect during toe-off.
• Asymmetric tongue wing: This feature provides a comfortable and secure feel around the midfoot while reducing unwanted tongue movement.
• 65% softer rearfoot: The GT-2000​​™ 14 shoe features rearfoot PureGEL^® technology that’s 65% softer than standard GEL^® technology.
• Lighter upper: A lightweight, woven mesh upper offers enhanced breathability and reduces the need for additional overlays.
• Improved traction: AHAR™ LO outsole rubber, a lower-density rubber that increases grip without losing durability, is placed in key areas throughout the GT-2000​​™ 14 shoe.
• More sustainable features: At least 50% of the upper material is made from recycled inputs to reduce waste and carbon emissions, and the sockliner is dyed using a process that consumes 33% less water compared to conventional dyeing technologies.
