IT SAP FMS Integration Specialist

The SAP FMS Integration Specialist will manage critical integrations, including SAP FMS with Magento, Marketplaces, Trade byte, our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and other supporting systems. This individual will be responsible for maintaining stable connections, managing data conversion processes, verifying accurate price displays, and supporting new country and currency configurations. They will work closely with order management, IT, logistics, and finance teams to ensure all integrations align with business needs and enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Management and System Connectivity:
- Oversee and manage the integration of SAP FMS with Magento, WMS, and other internal systems to ensure stable and continuous data flow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly to prevent disruptions to order management and inventory data.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to optimize integration workflows, ensuring smooth data transfer and connectivity.
Data Conversion and Validation:
- Implement and manage data conversion processes, ensuring accurate data mapping and synchronization across SAP FMS, Magento, and WMS.
- Validate that product, inventory, customer, and order information is accurately reflected across systems.
- SAP FMS Processing, converting and output of loyalty-points as part of our loyalty point-program.
- Pro-actively come up with solutions to automate and optimize above processes where possible.
Pricing and Product Output Accuracy:
- Ensure the correct transfer of pricing, promotional details, and product information from SAP FMS to the Magento platform, verifying accurate price displays in multiple currencies.
- Monitor pricing data outputs to quickly identify and address discrepancies or display issues.
WMS and Order Management Support:
- Support order management processes by maintaining accurate order flow from placement through fulfillment, ensuring inventory and shipping data is correctly integrated with the WMS.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to enhance workflows, minimize manual interventions, and improve order fulfillment accuracy.
New Market and Currency Setup:
- Configure SAP FMS and integrated systems to support new country launches, setting up additional currencies and pricing rules as needed.
- Coordinate with finance and product teams to ensure compliance with local requirements and accuracy in pricing, taxation, and currency conversion.
- Rebuild current Marketplaces invoicing flow. (Zalando à SAP FMS à Trade byte)
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track integration performance metrics, diagnosing bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and recommending solutions to improve stability and speed.
- Generate reports for leadership and stakeholders on integration health, data accuracy, and order fulfillment performance.
Documentation and Training:
- Maintain detailed documentation of integration workflows, data mappings, and troubleshooting steps.
- Train cross-functional teams on best practices for handling integrated data and troubleshooting basic issues in the system.
Qualifications
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications in SAP, Magento, or integration tools are a plus.
Experience:
- At least 8-10 years of experience in SAP FMS, with direct involvement in integrations with Magento, WMS, or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Proven experience with order management, data mapping, and pricing structures in a multi-country environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with SAP FMS integration tools, middleware, and API-based integrations.
- Familiarity with data formats like XML, JSON, and IDoc, as well as database management and SQL for data validation.
- Knowledge of multi-currency setups, country-specific configurations, and tax compliance in SAP.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to ensure data accuracy and system stability.
- Effective communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
