This June, we’re hoping to inspire more people to move for body and for mind with our 15:09 Uplift Challenge. Because our research shows that just 15:09 minutes of movement can help you feel uplifted. So, join us to lift spirits and raise funds for mental health charity, Mind*.

A challenge inspired by research.

People think that 30 minutes of exercise is the minimum amount required to experience an uplift. But ASICS’ research shows that just 15:09 minutes can have a positive impact on your mind. Find out more about the research here.

Get ready to move in June.

The 15:09 Uplift Challenge starts on Global Running Day, 1 June and will run until 30 June. That means, you have the entire month to move with us. So, lace up your shoes and move to uplift your mind and the world. Show us how you like to move to feel uplifted and tag your social posts with #ASICS1509.

We’re moving for Mind.

Together, we can make a difference and help others feel uplifted. When you join our challenge, you’ll help fight for mental health. Because for every post tagged with #ASICS1509, you’ll help us raise funds for mental health charity, Mind.*

*ASICS will contribute £5 on your behalf to Mind to help support anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Up to a maximum of £75,000.

WHICH CHARITY ARE YOU SUPPORTING?

We are proud to be supporting Mind (Registered charity no.: 219830). The money raised will be used to support people to improve their mental health through becoming physically active in their local communities – prioritising people facing the greatest inequalities​.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO TAKE PART?

The 15:09 Uplift Challenge is open from 1 to 30 June 2022.

WHERE CAN I POST?

Post to TikTok, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Remember that your account will need to be public for us to find your video​.

IF I POST MORE THAN ONCE, WILL IT COUNT?

Yes. As long as you use #LiveUplifted and #ASICSforMind.

IF I DON’T LIVE IN THE UK, CAN I STILL GET INVOLVED?

Of course! Wherever you are in Europe, we hope you will take part in the 15:09 Uplift Challenge and inspire others to do the same.

​ HOW MUCH IS ASICS HOPING TO RAISE?

Each post will raise £5 or €5 for Mind, up to a total of £75,000. By being part of the Challenge, you will be supporting Mind’s physical activity programmes, which encourage those of us with mental health problems to be more active to support our mental health.

HOW WILL YOU KNOW HOW MANY IMAGES AND VIDEOS ARE POSTED?

Our social media team will be monitoring and tracking the #LiveUplifted combined with #ASICSforMind hashtags to make sure we don’t miss a single post.
