My opinion on the latest Gel-Resolution 8 Tennis Shoe
In my opinion, the Gel Resolution 8 does exactly what it's designed to do. This model has been created for typical baseline players (such as Monfils), who want stability to grind out shots from the baseline. Both the hard court outsole and the clay outsole offer lots of stability and allow sliding to reach wide shots.
Even though I felt a bit of discomfort on the outside of my foot when I started wearing them, this stopped after three training sessions. Don't panic. Just give your tennis shoes some time to wear in and adjust to your feet to enjoy all the stability the Gel Resolution 8 has to offer.
As a competitive tennis player, I've already worn out more than 20 pairs of the Gel Resolution model, one of my favourite tennis shoes. This is because they very much suit my style of baseline style of play. They feel comfortable and give me confidence on court.
I really recommend these shoes to anyone who wants to step onto the court full of confidence!
